1. Who I am

This website is run by Jafar Fathi, Sales Representative, Right at Home Realty Brokerage ("I", "me", "my"). I am responsible for the personal information collected through this website.

2. What this policy covers

This policy explains what personal information I collect when you use BuyHomesGTA.ca, fill out a form, book a conversation, or message me by email, text, or phone, and how I use, share, and protect it. It follows Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).

3. What I collect

Information you give me: your name, phone number, email address, and anything you tell me in a form or message, such as the area you are looking in, your budget, your timeline, or whether you are buying, selling, or relocating. If you ask for a home evaluation, I also collect the address of the property.

Information collected automatically: when you visit the site, basic technical information may be collected, such as your IP address, browser type, device, the pages you view, and how you arrived at the site. This is mostly statistical and is used to see how the site is working.

I do not ask for financial account numbers, government ID numbers, or banking details through this website. Please do not send them through forms or email.

4. Why I collect it

• To reply to your questions and book a conversation with you
• To send you the guide, report, or information you asked for
• To prepare a home evaluation if you ask for one
• To understand what you are looking for so I can help you properly
• To provide real estate services if you choose to work with me
• To send you updates and marketing messages, only if you have agreed (see my Email and Text Consent page)
• To keep the website working and improve it
• To meet legal, regulatory, and brokerage record-keeping requirements

I will not use your information for a different purpose without asking you first, unless the law requires or allows it.

5. Your consent

I collect, use, and share your personal information with your consent. Consent can be express (you tick a box or tell me directly) or implied (for example, you send me a question and I use your details to answer it). You can withdraw your consent at any time. Withdrawing may mean I can no longer provide some services, such as sending you updates or helping you with a transaction.

6. Who I share it with

• My brokerage, Right at Home Realty Brokerage, where needed for real estate services, record keeping, and compliance
• Service providers who help me run my business, such as my customer management system (GoHighLevel), website hosting, email and text delivery, scheduling, and analytics tools. They may only use your information to provide their service to me.
• Other professionals, such as a mortgage professional, lawyer, or inspector, only when you ask me to or agree to an introduction
• Government, regulators, or others when the law requires it, or in a sale or reorganization of a business

I do not sell your personal information.

7. Where it is stored

Some of my service providers store or process information on servers outside Canada, including in the United States. Information held in another country may be accessed by courts or authorities there under that country's laws.

8. Cookies and similar technologies

This website and the tools it uses (such as forms, the chat widget, calendars, and analytics) may use cookies and similar technologies to remember your preferences, make forms and chat work, and count visits. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Some parts of the site may not work properly if you do.

9. Links to other websites

This site links to other websites and social media pages, such as YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and TikTok. They have their own privacy practices and I am not responsible for them.

10. How long I keep it

I keep your information as long as I need it for the purposes above and as long as the law and brokerage record-keeping rules require. After that, it is securely deleted or made anonymous.

11. How I protect it

I use reasonable safeguards, including password-protected systems and secure service providers, to protect your information from loss, theft, and unauthorized access. No online system is completely secure, so please be careful about what you send by email or text.

12. Your rights

You can ask me to:

• Show you the personal information I hold about you
• Correct it if it is wrong
• Delete it, where I am allowed to
• Stop sending you marketing messages
• Withdraw your consent

13. Children

This website is not meant for children, and I do not knowingly collect information from them.

15. Changes to this policy

I may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last changed. If I make a significant change to how I use your information, I will ask for your consent again where the law requires it.
